The first VR Experience in dance to be produced in Puerto Rico! More soon! With support from the National Endowment for the Arts/ Media Arts Projects.

Dust VR Experience was presented as part of the Festival Videodanza de Puerto Rico in April 2024. The project aims to transform the way people see and experience contemporary dance through a 4-minute-long immersive virtual reality experience. The piece is inspired by how almost every element on Earth was formed at the heart of a stardust, including our bodies. In DUST, the audience uses a Virtual Reality (VR) headset to place themselves in the immediate presence of the dancer and within a unique visual and aural scenario. DUST is a project by artist duo Mária Júdová and Andrej Boleslavský, produced by Carmen Salas with the support of Arts Council England and Rambert Dance Company.

Presented at Centro Cultural El Bastión in Old San Juan, as part of the Festival Videodanza de Puerto Rico. Camouflage is a multi-user participatory experience exploring how Virtual Reality can make us connect. The work is created in close collaboration with performers, dancers and choreographers. It gives its participants, including audience members, a playful immersive experience of the game of hide and seek. NA2DT Dance company and dancers Yeranthony Martines and Annie Irrizary were trained by artist Andrej Boleslavský to activate the game for the participants.

As part of the Festival Videodanza de Puerto Rico, the exhibition took place at Souvenir Gallery in Old San Juan where the audience members used their mobile phone or tablet to enjoy a one-to-one experience of some amazing international work videodanza work by thirteen international artists.
