During this first week, I observed various groups of participants during the yearly summer camp. The observation period was crucial to identify specific needs of each individual and inform the planning of the sessions to begin Monday 8 July. I was also able to meet the AmeriCorps volunteers that will support the workshops as well as the regular teaching staff.
